Open source people will be "Connecting Open Minds" during this three-day Drupal conference in Vienna, 22-24 of November 2013.
The Drupal Austria community invites open source contributors and speakers from all over Europe to the second DrupalCamp in the city of Vienna. Users, developers and business owners of Drupal and other content management systems will meet at the FH Technikum Wien for this international conference.
DrupalCamp Vienna 2013 offers a fine selection of sessions by experts in the fields of coding & developement, frontend & design, site building, content strategy, as well as business and user groups & community.
A dedicated effort is also made to connect with relevant experts outside of Drupal. John O'Nolan will talk about the Wordpress-fork Ghost and Felix Baumgartner is invited to speak about front-end development. Their fresh input to the community will be complemented by well-known Drupal speakers like Jeffrey McGuire (Business & Community), Gábor Hojtsy (Multilingual), Yves Chedemois (Field API) und Bojhan Somers (Design) with a clear focus on the upcoming release of Drupal 8.
"If you develop for the web, re-using open source software is an obvious choice nowadays. The DrupalCamp Vienna aims at presenting recent trends and showing the highlights of the upcoming version of Drupal 8.", says Christian Ziegler from the Drupal Austria association. Newcomers, as well as experts are invited to use DrupalCamp Vienna as a platform to exchange ideas and work together on this collaborative platform.
DrupalCamp Vienna 2013 wouldn't be possible without our main sponsor Wunderkraut, our location sponsor FH Technikum Wien as well as our gold sponsors drunomics, Knallgrau, Webshapers, Zensations and the support from ZIT - Die Technologieagentur der Stadt Wien GmbH.
